Intini e Cellerini

Jewels with a rock soul

What happens when the offspring of two dynasties of jewelers put their forces together? Intini and Cellerini is born, fruit of the union of goldsmiths Gianni Intini and Nicolò Cellerini. A shop that produces beautiful personalized jewels that are always at the meeting point between personal aesthetics and customer needs. What personal aesthetics? The one linked to the world of rock, with all its symbols and its attitudes.

The vocation that drives the team of this alternative jewelry to the world of rock music is also manifested by the photographs of the most famous singers hanging from the wall, by the music that comes out of the speakers and dark walls that create a sort of artificial twilight, in which the jewels made of pure silver, displayed on their showcases, shine even more. The shop is small like all the true artisan shops, a stone’s throw from the Duomo, right in the middle of the charming tangle of streets of the Old Town.

Why are the jewels of Intini and Cellerini so beautiful? Well, in addition to their wonderful edginess that makes them perfect objects to give some aggressive touch to your look, all the jewels are worked in-house, without changes of hands, which guarantees quality and purity as well as not-inflated prices. What are the highlights? All the jewels that bear the symbol of the ex-voto, the heart on fire; the  chain-shaped bracelet; and the double faith called “Tarallo” which decorates the finger of Alessandro Borghese, who bought the ring in the Alberobello shop of Gianni Intini, down in Puglia.

But thanks to the presence of a workshop, the production of this jewelry extends far beyond the set of original creations. You can indeed have built your customized jewel, entirely handmade, created according to your specifications. The only limit is your imagination, given the absolute skill of the master goldsmiths at work in the laboratory.

Among bracelets, necklaces and cufflinks, you will be spoiled for choice, but we suggest you take a look at the ring made in collaboration with Glam Jewels, the “Ring of Venus” which represents two hands holding a crowned heart. It’s a jewel designed for lovers, inspired by an ancient legend whose moral is that love is precarious and must be sealed with a symbol.

If you are looking for that special jewel, that object endowed with a unique personality, of unimpeachable quality and, above all, tailor-made for you, obeying your every indication, Intini and Cellerini is the hidden gem that will turn upside down your idea of shopping.

We can't. That's why every week we share the best experiences florence has to offer.
